When it opens, take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL) close a Futures position automatically when the financial mark reaches the level you set.
You can set them when you open a position, or later on the position card with Update protection. For a long position, TP must be above the current financial mark and SL below it; for a short position, the reverse. FALKR's servers check the levels, so your browser doesn't need to stay open.
When a level is reached, the whole position closes at the financial mark at that moment, which can differ from your level, and the closing fee applies. You can move a level closer to the current price even while opening new positions is paused. Moving a level further away or removing it counts as new risk, so it needs Futures to be open for your account.
TP and SL don't guarantee a price, a profit or a maximum loss, and they don't prevent liquidation.
